Family-friendly features for visitors: Shark Reef at adjacent Mandalay Bay

Family-friendly guest features: No gaming, massive pool, wave pool and beach at adjacent Mandalay Bay, private Four Seasons pool, complimentary use of video library and board games, kids stay free, complimentary children’s amenities, twice daily housekeeping, in-room coffee service.

Other Amenities: health club, five restaurants, room service, tennis

With its elegant atmosphere, you might not think of the Four Seasons as a good family hotel but this property is a good fit for families who aren’t watching the budget. A breath of fresh air along the Strip, this hotel has no gaming. That means the kids won't have to be escorted in particular parts of the hotel.

Instead, you’ll find a serene atmosphere which begins at the entrance which, unlike most other Strip properties, is set back off the bustling street by a private drive. Once inside, you’ll be met by muted Mediterranean colors, marble floors, and simple statuary

The location of the resort is also a Vegas first: the hotel is actually located in Mandalay Bay, floors 35 to 39. The guest rooms are accessed only by private elevators (the lobby is located in a two-story greathouse at the entrance). Suites are especially popular with families and can be configured to include three bedrooms. (OK, you need to hit the jackpot to afford one of these suites, but we’re just giving you the options.)

Kids are definitely treated as special guests at this luxurious property; children are treated with amenities and all restaurants feature a kids’ meal. Just ask and you’ll receive child-sized robes, no-tear shampoo, complimentary cribs, and even bedtime milk and cookies. Each of the rooms includes a Sony PlayStation through the television.

Great bonus: And to make things even better, kids under 18 can share a parent’s room at no extra charge.

When you reserve your room, be sure to give the ages of all children and they’ll be matched with complimentary amenities by age:

Infants and Toddlers:

  • Gift on arrival
  • Crib in room with basket of essentials (sized diapers, lotion, infant bathtub, shampoo, baby wash cloth, bubble bath, and baby powder)
  • Automatic child proofing including bumper pads with corner guards around table edges, outlet protectors, and night lights

2-12 Years:

  • gift on arrival
  • milk and cookies on arrival in room
  • names of kids spelled out in sponges on the bath
  • kid’s menus in all restaurants including room service
  • child-sized bathrobes for use during stay
  • in restaurant, coloring book created especially by Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas about the area
  • complimentary use of strollers and plypens on property; highchair toys on request
  • hotel will provide microwave, bottle warmers, refrigerators, and other essentials in room on request

Teens:

  • PlayStation through in-room TV (additional charge)
  • Selection of board games and videos at concierge
  • Popcorn and soda on arrival

Location: 3960 Las Vegas Boulevard South
