Although it's not aimed at families, this centrally-located casino hotel is home to several attractions that might be of interest to some members of the family. Along with the Imperial Palace Auto Collection, the hotel hosts “Legends in Concert,” a look at some of music's most famous faces...well, at least impersonators of those famous faces.

During peak months (May - September), the hotel's pool area hosts Imperial Hawaiian Luau, a dinner and show held each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evening, complete with fire dancers and a tropical feel. Young visitors will also enjoy Betty's Diner, the Burger Palace and the Pizza Palace, all with lots of favorites for children and teens.

The pool area is nice for families, especially if you don't mind spending an extra $60 a day to book one of the poolside cabanas. These shaded areas each come with a fan, television and remote, a limited number of non-alcoholic beverages and cocktail service right at your cabana. The shade is perfect for getting kids out of the desert sun.

From cold remedies to X-rays, the hotel's Medical Center can treat patrons seven days a week. Located on the eighth floor Pagoda Tower, the facility accepts most major credit cards.

The hotel also has a monorail station, making it a good home base from which to explore the strip.
