Formerly the home of a very family-oriented pirate battle, today the hotel sports a somewhat PG-rated “Sirens at TI” free show several times nightly, with scantily-clad women luring a swashbucklers with their songs and seductive charms. The seafaring theme begins outside the hotel with Buccaneer Bay Village, designed like an 18th century seaport village. This is the site of the pirate battle but its boardwalk makes a unique introduction to this hotel. Inside, the atmosphere is more elegant than you might expect with several fine dining restaurants and a spa. In fact, the hotel has been awarded the AAA Four Diamond Award, one that's reserved for the most luxurious properties. The hotel does welcome families, however, and they'll find an extensive pool complex as well as Mystere by Cirque du Soleil. The 2,885 guest rooms include wooden armoires with entertainment centers, marble baths and showers, and excellent views of the Strip, Buccaneer Bay Village, the mountains, or the pool. All the guest rooms have floor to ceiling windows. The hotel also is home to a large shopping promenade. Of special interest to families is TI Kids, featuring children's logo merchandise as well as toys. Location: 3300 South Las Vegas Boulevard. See hotel map for location.
